Who Benefits From Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is a hands-on skill we use to treat soft tissue and joint problems. We apply it to muscles, tendons, and ligaments to improve motion. When combined with modalities, it enhances healing and recovery. You’ll get better fast if done with proper care. This treatment is an essential part of our approach to physical therapy.
Our Approach
-
Protective Care
We treat you to prevent more damage to soft tissues by applying PRICE. Avoid manual therapy.

Gentle Care
We help prevent more tightness and adhesions. Our treatment is gentle soft tissue mobilizations with passive range of motion.
Learn More -
Progressive Care
We do aggressive loosening of soft tissues. Our approach is myofascial & trigger point release with stretching and joint mobilization.

Enhance Performance
We aim to optimize range of motion and muscle condition. We apply aggressive stretching and joint mobilizations.

Soft Tissue Mobilization(STM)
Soft tissue mobilization is a manual therapy skill to loosen soft tissues. We begin using this treatment when you can tolerate pressure, such as massage after an injury.
Our purpose is to break your adhesions and increase blood flow. This treatment may relieve your pain and muscle spasms. Besides, it starts up nerve and muscle function. It also helps you exercise with less discomfort to regain strength.
The benefit of STM is to prevent pain & muscle spasms cycle in the tissues. It also prepares your body to engage in more aggressive exercises.
-
Trigger Point Release(TPR)
Trigger point release is a manual pressure applied to the tender spots in the muscle fibers. The trigger points form tender knots due to repeated muscle tension. It also creates pain and spasm cycle, making your muscle tight. You’ll feel the muscles stiff, and exercise makes it hurt.
Our goal is to relieve your symptoms, which hinders normal function. We will also enhance your muscle strength. To get the best result, we have to relax the muscle first before putting pressure, then followed by exercises.
TPR helps to activate your optimal muscle function and return to active life.
-
Myofascial Release(MFR)
Joint mobilization is a manual technique, which requires an expert. Our focus is to improve your joint mechanics. After an injury, the fibers enclosing your joint tend to tighten and shrink. As a result, your joint becomes tightly packed, which restricts motion. When neglected, it may turn into tissue freezing, such as the frozen shoulder.
Our treatment purpose during the early stage is to prevent your joint capsule from getting tight. Later on, we loosen your joint, which can’t be done by regular stretching.
When combined with exercises, your tissues heal better. The right approach to care will help you get back on track.

Our Experience
Manual therapy is an essential part of our treatment. We always include hands-on skills to treat soft tissues and joint problems. The approach depends on the level of recovery.
After an injury, we focus more on protective care. Our purpose is to prevent more tissue damage while reducing pain and swelling. We don’t suggest manual therapy.
When the condition is stable, we apply gentle care. Our focus is to prevent tissue adhesion and enhance the healing of tissues. We use light massages and mobilize soft tissues.
When the patient is healing well, we carry our progressive care. Our aim is giving aggressive massages to get rid of persisting spasms and tightness. The techniques include myofascial & trigger point releases.
Our final goal of giving manual therapy is to optimize recovery.
